The publication of International Journal of Electronic Democracy brings the number of currently published Inderscience titles to 250, representing a rapid growth over the last few years. This growth will continue with 90 further titles in preparation for publication over the next year or so.
International Journal of Electronic Democracy deals with the evolution and transformation of political systems by means of technology. In particular it considers the concept of e-democracy (also referred to as digital democracy or internet democracy) which offers a feasible path to explore further these questions, since it is founded on the idea of streamlining political communications and altering aspects of political decision making in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of democracy.
