International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems - to begin publication in 2008 - aims to improve the state-of-the-art of worldwide research in the areas of communication networks and distributed systems by publishing high-quality articles in this area, and by exposing the readers to various methodologies, tools, techniques, algorithms, results, and types of articles.
It will not be limited to publishing networking issues occurring in the telecommunication domain. Good quality papers on network problems in other application domains such as biological networks, social networks, and chemical networks will also be considered. This feature of this journal will also help in promoting interdisciplinary research in these areas.
