Call for papers: "Advances in Computational Economics and Econometrics"

For a special issue of the International Journal of Computational Economics and Econometrics.

This special issue welcomes theoretical and applied papers dealing with computational techniques in all branches of economic and econometric modelling. Submissions of both methodological and policy-oriented papers using computational econometrics and statistics, simulation and agent-based models are appreciated. The issue is aimed at stimulating discussion and advances in economic and econometric research.
The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the International workshop on Computational Economics and Econometrics (Rome, July 12-13, 2013), but we also strongly encourage researchers unable to participate in the conference to submit articles for this call.
Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Applied micro and macro econometrics
  • Agent-based modelling
  • Economic dynamics
  • Bayesian econometrics and statistics
  • Optimisation methods
  • Financial econometrics
  • Monte Carlo simulation
  • Time series analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Software development and implementation
Important Dates
