A special issue of International Journal of Modelling, Identification and Control
This special issue focuses on nonlinear systems modelling and control techniques with engineering applications using neural networks. Original research articles covering either theoretical contributions such as learning convergence, robustness issue in modelling and control, and closed-loop systems stability analysis, or successful real-world applications in control engineering and computer networking management, but not limited to these domains, are highly appreciated and solicited.
Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Architecture and learning techniques - new neural network models and advanced learning algorithms that fit systems modelling and adaptive control
- Convergence analysis for nonlinear systems modelling and identification - persistence conditions, structure and weights convergence
- Robustness issues in learning algorithms and control strategies - effects of parameters perturbations in both learning process and controller design
- Stability analysis - Under realistic assumptions to carry out this performance analysis
- Applications - successful examples in control engineering, computer networking management, and other domains
Submission deadline : 17 May 2008
