The study of complex systems represents a new approach to science and technology, exploring how collective behaviours of a system are functions of ties between parts and how the system interacts and forms relationships with its environment. The
International Journal of Complexity in Applied Science and Technology meets the need for a forum to disseminate information on such complex systems and complexity science. It emphasises the design, development and applications of dynamic models, including systems dynamics and agent-based approaches. IJCAST also presents "solutions" to complex managerial problems across domains.
