Call for papers: "Technological Innovation and Social Change Processes"

For a special issue of the International Journal of Learning and Change.

As technological innovations occur at an ever-increasing pace, they force changes both within organisations and in the contexts in which they operate. At the same time, major shifts have been occurring, on a global scale and at both economic and social levels, since the global financial crisis.

We are therefore interested in understanding these changes and how they interrelate; in their impact on business processes, learning and performance; and in how innovation can be a means of adapting to and leading the way with respect to these changes.

Suitable topics include but are not limited to:
  • Innovation management
  • Social change processes
  • Competitive and cooperative strategies for innovation and change
  • Technological innovation in small and family firms
  • Learning in organisations
  • Systems thinking and business dynamics
  • Innovation, social change and sustainability
  • Innovation-led competition
  • Technology-led competition
  • Decision models for competitive gains
  • Social drivers of competition
  • Ethics and CSR in innovation and social change
