In this special issue we invite research, review and conceptual papers covering different topics related to human factors and ergonomics, which may be included under the “umbrella” of the following subjects: safety management, ergonomics and physical environments, chemical and biological agents, and fire safety.
Original contributions including conceptual, empirical and case studies, as well as technical reports and reviews addressing and/or relating to any of the subject coverage areas, are welcome from authors.
This issue will include revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the International Symposium on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (9-10th February 2012, GuimarĂ£es, Portugal), but we also strongly encourage researchers who did not participate in the conference to submit papers for this call.
