The fashion and textiles industry is one of the most important industries in the world. Its markets are characterised by short product life cycles and high demand volatility. To be profitable in this fast-paced and uncertain environment, effective and efficient supply chain management is necessary. This special issue is devoted to the latest and most significant findings on inventory management in fashion supply chains.
We seek cutting-edge developments, novel concepts, innovative practices and research opportunities in inventory management in the fashion industry.
