Rapidly changing environments and technologies, the development of new knowledge and the continuous flow of innovations are sources of new challenges for international firms operating in different markets. Therefore, this special issue addresses the need to look at firms of any size and examine their internationalisation pathways, their innovativeness, their international marketing strategies and their overseas distributor relations. Research into other areas related to international marketing management strategies of firms is also welcome.
The issue invited all types of studies – quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods as well as meta-analysis/critical review/conceptual papers, empirical studies and case studies.
The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the 2016 Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy (GIKA) Conference, but we also encourage researchers unable to participate in the conference to submit articles for this call.
