Call for papers: Recent Trends in M-Commerce with Innovative Mobile Communication Technologies and Services

A special issue of International Journal of Electronic Business

An increasing number of mobile communications and wireless network users generate strong demand for new mobile commerce applications and services. Mobile communications technologies are growing rapidly and will continue to do so in future, focusing on supporting high speed data transfer over communication networks. Business organizations and mobile communications networks service providers are forced to bring in new technologies which provide customers with more reliable and secure m-commerce and user-friendly, economical and affordable mobile services. With such mobility, users enhances their lives in many ways, through communications, data sharing, entertainment, e-learning, e-commerce and mobile application services. Customer demand and mobile communications service support provides many new business opportunities and challenges to m-commerce vendors, mobile network service providers, mobile content publishers, various market places, entertainment and the information world. Innovative applications and services will ease users’ needs for m-commerce transactions.

The increasing demands of mobile commerce have also seen increasing attention from academics and researchers. This special issue aims to cover latest developments in mobile communications and internet technologies supporting innovation in m-commerce.
