Call for papers: Special Issue on: “The Attraction of Sport”

Guest Editor: Dr. Damon P. S. Andrew, The University of Tennessee, USA.

Sport marketing scholars have explored sport’s attraction to spectators both theoretically and empirically. Additional streams of research have developed concerning sponsor attraction to sport, including the fit between a sponsor’s brand and the associated sporting event. Organisational behaviour research has investigated several psychological constructs related to employee attraction to sport such as perceived organisational prestige and organisational commitment. Research has also targeted the economic impact and non-economic impact of sport that influences its attractiveness to stakeholders.

The aim of this special issue is to devote attention to the attraction of sport to all associated entities.

Suitable topics include but are not limited to:

* Sponsorship, advertising and licensing
* Sport economics
* Sport finance
* Sport communication
