International Journal of Sustainable Development 9(2) 2006 is a special issue: Sustainable management in agriculture and water resources. Topics include the predictable effects of the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), with the Decoupling of Farm Support; the management of conflicts between old and new water-rights holders in the perspective of a more sustainable water resources management; methodological and applied approaches aimed at favouring a sustainable management of water resources in practices, in particular agricultural, that generate pollution; the costs of desertification.
