Associate Prof. Wan Wei from Arkansas Tech University in the USA has been appointed to take over editorship of the International Journal of Cultural Management. The journal's previous Editor in Chief, Prof. Wei Song, will take the position of Executive Editor, with the two editors exchanging posts every two years.
Associate Prof. Wan Wei offered the following statement:
"It is my great pleasure and honor to serve as the new Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Cultural Management (IJCultM). I am honoured to lead a highly accomplished and diverse editorial team of researchers representing regions across Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and South America. Our team brings together established scholars and emerging researchers with diverse expertise and perspectives, providing a strong and inclusive foundation for the continued development of the journal. I am excited to work with such a talented and committed group as we begin this new chapter for IJCultM. We are committed to strengthening IJCultM as an international platform for rigorous, innovative and interdisciplinary research in the fields of culture and cultural management.
IJCultM provides an international and interdisciplinary forum for research on cultural management and related areas. We welcome high-quality theoretical and empirical research that advances our understanding of the management, economics, policy and development of cultural organisations.
The journal welcomes contributions from scholars and researchers across academia, business and the public sector, with the aim of fostering meaningful interdisciplinary dialogue on the management, development and use of culture. We encourage research drawing on diverse disciplinary and methodological perspectives, including economics, finance and sociology. The journal also welcomes critical reviews.
