e-Business initiatives have received significant attention and investments in recent years. As increasing number of companies make electronic business an integral part of their strategic activities, the importance of analysing the performance of an e-Business environment has become critical for competitiveness. There are many key issues to be explored with respect to the performance analysis of an e-Business environment, such as the evaluation of information flows and selection of a project plan, which involves the issues of milestones, tasks, schedules, staffing, deliverables, and costs.

The intent of the special issue is to investigate innovative and effective uses of performance evaluation, management, and control approaches in an e-Business environment. Authors are encouraged to submit both theoretical and applied articles addressing the theme of the special issue.
