Call for Papers: Advanced Software Engineering and Its Applications

A special issue of International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology

This special issue introduces state-of-the-art innovative and advanced tools and techniques for developing and maintaining large-scale software systems. Recent progress, ideas, problems and solutions relating to the multifaceted aspects of software engineering and its application will be discussed, providing developers with a guide for choosing which tools and methodologies would be most appropriate for solving large-scale software problems.

The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the Advanced Software Engineering and Its Applications (ASEA 2010) conference (13-15 December 2010, Jeju Island, Korea), but we also strongly encourage researchers who did not participate in the conference to submit papers to this special issue.

Suitable topics include but are not limited to the following areas, in which excellent surveying works are also welcome:
  • Component-based software engineering
  • Software requirements engineering
  • Software architecture and design
  • Information engineering
  • Visual and multimedia computing
  • Economic and financial systems
